YWAM Queenstown | Volume Four

The Character & Nature of God. This week, conversation and discussion has been saturated by this topic. We had a special guest speaker from Australia named Chris Twinn speak and the Lord has moved in all of us at YWAM Queenstown so powerfully! I wish we could have been on this subject for another week!

In talking about God’s character and nature, we got down to what God’s essence truly is. Love. He created us in His image and used himself as the blueprint of our being. He loves us so much that Jesus gave up his sovereignty and came to earth as the lamb who was slain before the foundations of the world. He died so that we could be on the throne, not so that He could. He was already on the throne, He just wants us because He loves us and He is love. [John 17:20-26]

Jesus, the one without sin, took our sin and died on a cross, again, for our sins. When He died, He went to hell and banished our sins. But because Jesus is was without blame or blemish, hell literally couldn’t hold Him. The same spirit of Christ dwells within us and we have that same power and authority. We have to stop playing the victim to the devil and pleasing to God. Eventually we have to identify as the one in the robe and not the one reaching for it. [Mark 5:21-34]

The reason we fulfill the great commission, to go unto all the earth and preach the Good News to every living creature, is for our relationship with Christ. You introduce Christ and make Him known to others when you know and have an intimate relationship with Him. Even as I’m here at DTS, I’m not here to gain intellect, but to receive revelation. More information is just information. I’m here for relationship with the One who first loved me. [1 John 4:19]

Once again, thank you for being such a blessing in my life! Praying for me and supporting me financially, I am so grateful and I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for how the Lord moves upon the hearts of His people! If you'd like to continue to partner with me, you can do so in the link below! [2 Corinthians 9:7]
