YWAM Queenstown | Volume Eleven
It’s weird time we live in, especially being someone who just graduated their DTS via online classes and not having an Outreach Phase. These past 3 weeks have arguably been the craziest weeks of my life and it’s been crazy is so many ways beyond just DTS.

This week was on Relationships with Brianna Lokeni who is based out of YWAM Furnace on the North Island just outside of Auckland. She has been with Youth With A Mission for the past 4 years and met her husband named Wills in YWAM. They’ve been married for 3 years and currently have a 2 year old son as well named Brooks!

Brianna spoke from great experience and revelation knowledge that has come from the years that she’s spent with the Lord and she is even still, what she would call, “a constant work” in the realm of relationships. There’s a lot of truth behind that phrase because we are all a constant work in our relationships. No matter how old or young you are, the relationships that you have are ever evolving and changing. The circumstances of life can change an individual in the snap of a finger. [Psalm 69:13]
It was definitely an odd Lecture for me considering I could watch them whenever I wanted, eat will I watched, or even pause them! You can’t do that in a classroom! But in these Lectures, something hit me in a new way that I had never seen and never truly realized. One of the key points Brianna touched on was Boundaries. What they should look like in our lives and how God places those boundaries because ultimately, He wants to give us freedom. It seems like a paradox, but in Him, we find true freedom. [2 Timothy 1:7]
With this week, it’s been bittersweet. The last week of Lectures being this topic and looking at all the relationships I’ve made in these 3 months, it’s a proper send off. I’ve been going through photos, letters, notes, paintings, drawings, and mementos that will forever stick with me and it will remind me of the magnificent people that God gave to me while in New Zealand. One day I’ll get to see them again and one day, we’ll be in eternity together! [Psalm 27:14]

I just want to say a huge thank you for supporting me throughout this entire journey. For praying for me, sending me words of encouragement, and even financially! It brings me such great joy to open my inbox and see all the responses I get from these newsletters! Though DTS is over, the journey doesn’t end here. I’ll still be sending out updates. The future is bright and the Lord has a lot in store! [Proverbs 16:9]
