October 2020 | Let Us Worship

October. A bizarre month to say the least. Over these past weeks the Lord has been speaking to me on choice. This is a big topic in the days we live in both spiritual and even politically. But in choice, it always comes down to you. For me it has been deciding the kind of future I want to fight for. In that statement lies a question as well. What is worth fighting for?

I had the privilege and opportunity to be in Washington DC for a week with David’s Tent as well as Sean Feucht’s “Let Us Worship” event that gathered over 30,000 people! It was incredible to say the least! Throughout the event, there were many speakers there that were calling forth freedom to reign throughout the land and for justice to prevail. Many came to Christ and were baptized both in water and in Holy Spirit. God moved on the capital of America.

I bring up all of that to say that those things that they were declaring is a choice. We have the choice to bring forth freedom. We have the choice to see justice prevail. Not just in our own lives, but in our nations. We are supposed to be a powerful, praying, prevailing church. We are supposed to raise a hallelujah and bring forth the kingdom. God told us that we shall inherit the land. We are the ones who make the choice to see that in our lands when we partner with the Father.

"The faithful lovers of God will inherit the earth

and enjoy every promise of God's care,

dwelling in peace forever."

Psalm 37:29

This year has thrown a whole lot at us. Wildfires, Viruses, Lockdowns, Civil Unrest, the list goes on. We are the ones who are supposed to make the change.

We are the ambassadors of the Anointed One who carry the message of Christ to the world,"

2 Corinthians 5:20

Even though your platform might not be big, you have the world at your fingertips. Use your voice. No matter if your voice reaches 20 people or 20 million. No matter the backlash or the heat you may receive, you are more than a conqueror and you were made to be like Christ.

And everything I've taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!"

John 16:33

So amidst all this craziness, LET US WORSHIP! Let us call heaven to earth. Let us be the change. Let us make the choice to say no to lawlessness and yes to righteousness! To say no to death and yes to life. To say no to disunity and yes to unity.

Truth' shining light guides me in my choices and decisions;

the revelation of your word makes my pathway clear.

Psalm 119:105

So, that’s what has been on my heart. Here’s what I’ve been up to.

I’m still in a waiting faze on returning to New Zealand, but I am applied to staff at my YWAM base in Queenstown, which is very exciting! The Lord has continued to speak to me and giving me peace on retuning whenever that may be. On a small updated note too, my silver fern tattoo has healed up nicely!

In the meantime, I’ve been hard at work doing ministry with my church, Victory, here in Florida. Being on a small staff and manning almost all the media has been quite a challenge, but the Father has given me such a grace for this work and also the people I get to work with. I’m so excited to see where God takes the church!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this! I try to use this a way for me to get out what God is telling me and keeping many people across the globe in the loop of what’s going on in my life! Thank you as well for all the prayer, love, and support, I declare the same over you! If you’d like to support me in any way, a support link and prayer requests are below! Much love!

Prayer Requests: New Zealand | YWAM Queenstown is doing well, just be praying for strength and endurance over the staff as well as God-given finances! Just that I’ll be able to take the right steps on returning too and be patient in the meantime. Also be in prayer for the nation of New Zealand as a whole. They just finished their election and as we all know, post elections can be a bit tense.

Continued Hunger | I asked for this last newsletter, but I just want more of God! To just know Him more and sink deeper into His heart!

Thankfulness for the Present | To be grounded where I am and not in another place. God has placed me here right now and I’m learning to be thankful for it.

Answered Prayers: Finances | God has brought some amazing people into my life who have wanted to support me even while being in Florida and staffing at the church, so that’s super cool!

Creativity | After my trip to DC and challenging myself with a new film camera I was gifted as well as taking steps into graphic design, I’ve felt very rejuvenated! God given art is the best and only kind!
